(Faith, hope and Love)

Founder/Director Thelma Bryant

Mike Dunn’s guest on “Quest for Character” was Thelma Bryant, Founder and Director of “FAHLO Christian Academy”.

Mrs. Bryant is the Founder and Director of FAHLO Christian Academy.  FAHLO began over 20 years ago as a home daycare with Mrs. Bryant’s 2 yr old son and one other child. Because of her unique gift to connect with children, not even months later, other parents began bringing their children. Word spread and FAHLO went from just a daycare to an academy.

FAHLO Christian Academy is built on a foundation of FAith, Hope and LOve.  Providing quality, Christian childcare and academic training for children ages 3 months – 6th grade. The Academy’s vision is to teach and train Godly excellence into the lives of our students.  We teach students to walk in excellence spiritually, academically and physically, and ultimately fulfill their God-given purpose in their lifetime.

The name FAHLO itself comes from one of the Bible’s most memorized verses, so for FAHLO Christian Academy, the term “Children’s Church” is a concept not to be taken lightly.  At our Academy, our students are given a spiritual education, primarily being taught the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  At every age and every developmental level, FAHLO students participate in daily activities that promote spiritual growth such as:

–Learning the importance of Praise & Worship

–Biblical studies and applying the Word of God to daily living

–Learning the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and showing the evidence

       of their fruit.

FAHLO believes in helping children succeed, “From the Cradle to the Cap & Gown”. One of the most important factors of their program is to recognize and help develop each child’s motivational gift as stated in Romans 12:6-8.

This will be done by directly training and educating the children, as well as, their parents.  Their students will learn by example and through instruction, how to operate in their God given gifts.

Be sure to listen to “Quest for Character with Mike Dunn” on TruthTalk AM 630 KJSL Radio. The program is LIVE Tuesday nights at 6pm, rebroadcast Thursday  6pm, Saturday 6am and Sunday 7pm.
